The animals we saw the most besides baboons were ostriches.

They are quite majestic and interesting to watch.   This view, but with grass around it, is what made people say that ostriches buried their heads in the sand.  When they are sitting on eggs, they look just like bushes in the distance.

 

His plumage was luxurious.

 

On the way back, we glimpsed some female ostriches on the side of the road.

 

Then we saw these adorable babies.

 

They are so well camouflaged!  They are teeny complete ostriches.........

 

..........but look just like little bushes.
