Cheetahs are our favorite so I took a lot of pictures of them and was so pleased to be able to get these close ups of the three brothers.

Here is a drowsy one.  See the stiff hair in the spots.

 All of these face shots were taken while the brothers were lying in the shade at the end of the day.  Cheetahs are able to put their heads onto their shoulders like this and sort of lock them in place and go to sleep that way, so they can awake and look without moving.  I hate to think how my neck would feel if I slept like that!

We were probably five yards/meters away and they really couldn't have cared less that we were there.  There have been vehicles and people looking at them for all their lives and nothing has ever happened, so they just live and let live.
