We were lucky enough to see
elephants every day that we were in Kruger park. Sometimes they were in
big family groups and not too near the road.
We liked seeing the babies in the groups.
With luck, the road would turn and
we would get to see them closer.
This is the elephant version of a
mother putting the back of her hand to her forehead and saying, what will I do
with you children!
Here comes a big elephant to drink
at a small water hole.
He keeps an eye on us, but knows what he wants.
And then he took his drink, albeit
a little sloppily. At the end, he seemed to be pleased, as were we!
