The whole pride walked along for
another twenty minutes or so. We had to go the long way around to catch up
to them because the bush was so thick. But there was still very little
shade from the small bushes that weren't fully leafed out yet. They
finally found some shade and all flopped down.
Big Dad tried to stay awake, but it
didn't work.
The cub did better than he
did.
The ranger said they would have to
eat that night or they would be in trouble, but that was our last night there,
so we don't know what happened. I like to think they got some nice
antelope that there are plenty of.
There will be just one more letter
about these lions.
