You can't resist lion cubs playing..........or at least I can't.  This is how they build themselves up physically, learn hunting skills, and establish their pecking order.

But the games they play look just like domestic kittens.

It was too early in the morning to get sharp pictures with them moving so fast, but I love the face on this cub--the other one is going to get it and he knows it!

They did huge running leaps at each other.

Followed by pretend death bites.

The games went on for nearly an hour till the lionesses decided to move out and then everyone followed.

Talk about flexible!
